THE BALISOXP JOURNAL

The route moves forward.
Here is what changes.

From 0.22 to 0.25: a startup fix, new settings, professions, survival tools and Alliance routes. Each release describes its changes and what still needs to be tested in the game.

0.25.0Resume in the right place. Remember the dangers.22 October 2026 · Alpha

Gameplay feedback fixes Darkshore quest turn-ins and strengthens the tools for resuming, visiting vendors and staying alert. Alliance starting routes continue to grow.

  • Darkshore: added turn-ins for eight quests accepted on the human, dwarf and gnome routes, recovering around 6,000 quest XP in simulation.
  • Dwarves and gnomes: trainer visits at levels 8 and 10. Dwarf hunters: trainers included in capital visits. Night elves: trainers in Dolanaar and Darnassus, with a return at level 16.
  • Night elves: 19 quests added in Darkshore and departure for the zone at level 11. The route still needs gameplay testing, and its 14–20 section needs further pacing improvements.
  • Welcome and route realignment: a suggested place to resume based on quests, the quest log and level. You confirm; skipped steps can still be restored. Command: /baliso recaler.
  • A vendor button to sell gray items, with a counter and protection for useful items. A trainer visit can finish automatically when no essential spell is missing.
  • Account-wide combat memory, prioritizing observations from your class. Areas where adds were encountered are remembered and flagged when you return.
  • Escape arrow activates when three enemies are attacking, even at full health. Stronger precautions in Stonesplinter Valley following a paladin session.
  • Respawns: a pale marker and “default value, not measured” label when no measurement is available. The new creature-ID-based timing remains experimental on Era.

727 simulated engine scenarios, including 13 new ones, and successful data checks according to the delivery report. The 0.25 changes still need in-game testing. The dwarf, gnome and night elf starts have not yet been played in the sessions received; survival is not guaranteed.

0.24.0A clearer view of danger and progress.22 October 2026 · Test version

Six new tools make room for past fights, upcoming quests and your previous characters.

  • Combat memory by enemy: observed health loss, duration, poison and adds. A reminder before engaging draws on your own fights.
  • Escape route: a red arrow below your chosen health threshold, pointing toward a listed refuge or your recent out-of-combat trail. This heading does not check obstacles or patrols.
  • Hardcore deaths near your level and in your zone, from the client’s built-in announcement; reminders in the journal, without saving the player’s name.
  • 20-quest log: anticipates space needed, suggests quests to abandon and flags nearby turn-ins outside the route. You can open the quest log; abandoning remains manual.
  • Route ghost: compares your playtime with a best run by your other characters, using shared steps recorded since 0.24.
  • Estimated respawn markers on the minimap. Their display and the distinction between default values and measurements are corrected in 0.25.
  • Level milestones: remaining XP, estimated enemy count and duration when your fights provide enough data. Redridge: added “Selling Fish,” shortening the final milestone in simulation.

714 simulated engine scenarios, including 17 new ones. Death alerts, refuges and respawns still need testing in the client. Estimates and escape headings remain indicative.

0.23.0Your interface. Your professions. Your companions.21 October 2026 · Test version

Four paladin sessions and feedback on settings lead to a new window, more gathering information and better visits to town.

  • New seven-tab Settings window: Panel, Map and arrow, Quests, Advice, Bags and vendors, Routes, Group and players. Fixed text that stayed blank.
  • Background transparency from 0 to 100% and whole-panel opacity from 20 to 100%, becoming clear on hover. Adjustable sizes for the panel, journal, arrow and settings.
  • 970 Alliance gathering areas for levels 1–25 complement the 117 selected locations. Your gathering adds to local, account-wide memory; tooltips and a mining-pick reminder added.
  • Monty’s tram quests and “Deep Ocean, Vast Sea” added. Contextual item button extended to 218 quests; talking to a flight master or weapon trainer can complete the visit.
  • Group-only branches are deferred automatically while solo, then offered again if this setting changes. This mechanism never defers a quest you have already accepted.
  • Bingles and Silver Stream Mine reassessed by class and level; arrival at Thelsamar fixed, human detours removed from dwarf and gnome starts, and weapon DPS comparison corrected.
  • Auction House and bank: material advice and optional detours in capitals. You choose sale prices and handle all transactions.
  • Beacon between BalisoXP users: version, chapter and shared quests within the group. Limited addon messages, separate options and no names retained in saved data.

697 simulated engine scenarios, including 24 new ones. Settings display, service dialogue and communication between two accounts still need in-game testing. Gathering areas and known locations do not detect resources currently present.

0.22.1The panel and commands return.21 October 2026 · Test version

Fixed the 0.22.0 startup blocker on the creator’s Classic client.

  • Removed NEW_TAXI_PATH, an event unknown to the client that stopped loading before windows and commands became available.
  • The first discovery of a flight path is recognized through the localized native message; location and NPC checks are retained, without advancing twice.
  • Startup checks strengthened. The features and content of 0.22 are preserved.

673 simulated engine scenarios. The creator later confirmed that the addon worked again; subsequent sessions used 0.22.1. Version 0.22.0 remains here as history and should no longer be installed.

0.22.0Observe, recover, stay on course.October 20, 2026 · Test version

Three prototype sessions refine vigilance and profession waypoints. This release also had a startup defect, fixed in 0.22.1.

  • Normal, light or fully transparent background, without fading the text.
  • Native announcements for completed objectives: adjustable party/raid messages, opt-in /say, the client’s language and message limits.
  • Active poison and remaining health: recovery advice, warnings while fleeing and precautions based on observed enemies.
  • Loch Modan: level 12 milestone moved earlier, hunting near the road and Plan B; several encounters deferred to group play in the solo route.
  • Classic Thomas, leaving Ironforge, first flight path discovery, finding Kadrell and cross-checking active objectives.
  • 117 gathering locations across seven Alliance zones, filtered by learned profession and skill; no more than six nearby locations.
  • Four painted WoW-style icons: copper, tin, herbs and bundles; eighteen distinct bundle locations.
  • Six catalogue ideas developed further; 9 included within their stated scope, 25 partial and 6 planned.

669 simulated scenarios, including 51 new ones. Fixes drawn from sessions played in 0.21. This historical version was replaced by 0.22.1 for startup, then by later releases. Gathering locations do not detect resources currently present. No public download.

0.21.0Four starting points. An adventure at your pace.October 19, 2026 · Test version

Alliance starting routes open up in the prototype: human, dwarf, gnome and night elf, with their class chains and more practical decision tools.

  • Warrior feedback: hunting accepted before bundles, deliveries collected along the way and clearer danger warnings.
  • Selected profession waypoints, known bundle locations and an optional transparent background with opaque text.
  • Three regional routes and 28 class modules: 20 Era combinations, filtered letters and trainers; independent progress preserved.
  • Taming, Redemption, druid forms, SI:7 and the mage robe: native objectives and explicit dangers; risky detours are optional.
  • Rank, talent and equipment advice extended to all eight classes; 57 vendors and 45 profession trainer locations.
  • Manual Plan B: another known waypoint for four human quests, without changing the counter or detecting crowds.
  • Town summary, repair quote requiring confirmation and a copyable session summary; no automatic sending.
  • Catalogue: 9 ideas included within their stated scope, 25 partial and 6 planned.

618 simulated scenarios, including all 20 Alliance combinations progressing from 1–20. 342 distinct quests in the guides; shared sections are included in the 1,564 step occurrences. Eight database disagreements over quest givers still need verification. At release, real sessions were still pending; three 0.21 sessions have since informed the 0.22 fixes. Forever compatibility unverified.

0.20.0Set off with the right waypoints.October 18, 2026 · Test version

The human warlock gains an optional Voidwalker route. Preparations respond more closely to the character’s condition.

  • 15 steps and three quests, from Remen to the ritual; resuming adapts to quests already known.
  • Preparation summary: level, health, mana where relevant, durability and free bag slots; also available with /baliso prepare.
  • A compact vendor button on narrow panels keeps the progression controls accessible.
  • Catalogue reviewed: 9 ideas included within their stated scope, 23 partial and 8 planned.

525 simulated Lua 5.1 scenarios. Main route: 478 steps and 131 quests; five optional modules: 62 steps and 20 quests. Version 0.20 still needs testing in WoW; human content remains incomplete.

0.19.1A report window you can move.October 18, 2026 · Test version

The report copy window gets its own space and remembers its position.

  • Draggable header, with the title separate from the text to copy.
  • The journal hides while copying, then returns to the same tab.
  • Closing, Escape and rapid reopening checked.

501 simulated engine scenarios. Fix prompted by real feedback on 0.19; client verification still required.

0.19.0Spells before bags.October 18, 2026 · Test version

A level 6–8 warrior session refines the route, supplies and returns to town.

  • An estimated budget for recommended spells is reserved before suggesting a bag, for all six human classes.
  • Draggable minimap button and 46 documented vendors.
  • Clearer explanations of items to keep, mine and murloc warnings, and the Stormwind package included during the town visit.

493 simulated engine scenarios. The measured session used 0.18; it does not validate later fixes.

0.18.0Detours that keep you on track.October 18, 2026 · Test version

Professions, vendors and field waypoints improve through prototype feedback.

  • Profession choices and visits, bag suggestions and vendor detours.
  • Jasperlode waypoints and a level 9 milestone before Princess.
  • Hunting areas available on hover.

469 simulated engine scenarios. Real testing of the changes is still required.

0.17.0Beyond Elwynn.October 17, 2026 · Test version

The human 10–20 main route extends into the next zones, with town visits and cautionary level milestones.

  • 131 quests in the human 1–20 main route, including the written 10–20 section.
  • Trainer visits and transport steps.
  • Explicit milestones and dangers; content and classes still need in-game testing.

A written route does not certify its actual pace or every class. Testing continues in level ranges.

0.16.0Elwynn in full.October 17, 2026 · Test version

The human route includes all viable Elwynn quests between levels 6 and 12.

  • 65 quests and 288 steps on the 1–20 route: Princess, Jasperlode Mine, Rolf, Westbrook Garrison and nearby quests.
  • A single visit to Fargodeep and a Hearthstone bound at the right time.
  • A “Confirm” button to override a level milestone, Hearthstone cooldown information, and larger Item and Target buttons.

424 simulated engine scenarios. A level 6–7 paladin session was measured on the previous version; the new route still needs to be played in the game.

0.15.3Better waypoints for objectives.October 16, 2026 · Test version

Hunting areas and the journal become more precise in the private prototype.

  • Hunting areas displayed for relevant objectives.
  • 42 documented areas: 6 cross-checked and 36 taken from a reference, pending field confirmation.
  • Level 4 milestone repositioned and journal content expanded.

412 simulated engine scenarios. Area placement and new fixes still need in-game verification; the human route remains incomplete.

0.15.2Finer borders. Clearer waypoints.October 16, 2026 · Test version

The first feedback on the new interface refines the panel’s details.

  • Borders aligned to screen pixels.
  • Larger text at the bottom of the panel.
  • Vendor button matched to the Brasier theme.

A level 1–6 human Hardcore paladin session was measured. This short route does not validate all content or every fix.

0.15.1Controls that stay accessible.October 16, 2026 · Test version

The header’s clickable area and contextual controls are adjusted.

  • Header buttons remain accessible without the drag area intercepting clicks.
  • Visible, repositionable targeting control.

Simulated checks and interface fixes; full client validation still required.

  • A graphical settings arrow and the client font for missing characters.
  • Clearer journal message during combat; target level restored in the main heading.
  • Alert pulsing paused on quest turn-in pages.

  • Estimated stopping point with /baliso session N.
  • Trainer validation based on client evidence; purchases remain manual.
